Daeyang University Activity
We are so privileged to work with Daeyang University and Malawi College of Health Sciences through our Fundraising effort on Food Bank Program. On 16th, July 2022 Wovicco conducted a research focussed on assessing and identifying students needs which includes; accommodation costs, food, toiletries, health and learning materials with a greater emphasis on a girl child especially those who get accommodated outside the college hostels, who are an easy target of men, who takes advantage of such situation and exploits these girls to meet their selfish intentions. On behalf of Daeyang University, Mr Banda who is the Registrar managed to appreciate the efforts of addressing the challenges of needy students by Wovicco Food Bank Program. Currently Wovicco is supporting University students through its Scholarship and among of these Universities Daeyang is one of them. The research was facilitated by Jacob Katanga who is Project Development Manager of Wovicco.

Safe clean water
Mostly, people tend to define poverty in rural communities basing on the lack of food, lack of shelter/good houses, access to education and health services but lack of clean and portable water is also poverty. Wovicco is working in Southern region of Malawi by reaching out to many people through provision of safe water by donating of boreholes. Recently, the Organization has supported people in TA Ntaja, GVH Mtweye in Machinga. We are calling for donation from well wishers for clean and safe water #safewater #healthservices
